03-4-2011 - It's a.. Ultra Sounds 5-8

Hi friends, It has been awhile since I posted an update so I am going to try and catch up here.

Ultra Sound 5 IPS

I had the IPS screening (screening for downs ect..) done finally just shy of the deadline. Everything came back fine. I had it done at the hospital outside of town. The tech was really nice and gave me a picture. I have yet to post them.

Ultra Sound 6- Bad pains in my tummy

For about four days my tummy was so sore to the point I could barely move and when I ate it hurt more or went to the bathroom. I really thought I might have a bladder infection or something. After suffering for a few days I went to emergancy. They couldnt find anything wrong and sent me for an ultra sound. The ultra sound was good and baby was fine. It was summed up to be that I had been doing too much and with the muscles already stretching for baby, I made them that much worse. I took a break from doing house work ect.. for about a week and thankfully it went away.

Ultra sound 7 -Anatomy of baby (March 19th)

My family doctor ordered the Anatomy exam of the baby since I had yet to hear from a ob. It was booked for 3pm on a Saturday at the hospital. They didnt end up taking me until well after 3 and then the tech ran out of time so the scan was not completed. I was told to come back in a week to finish the exam. I asked the tech the gender but he could not tell me for sure. He said he was very uncertain because the cord was in the way. I was very excited to find out.

Ultra Sound 8- Continue Anatomy (March 26th)

I had another very nice tech and asked her at the beginning to please if she could find the gender. She completed the scan then asked for my husband to come in. This was the first time my husband was able to attend and see baby. She waited until he was in the room then showed us a clear picture of the legs and what was in between. There is no dought about it.. It's a boy!!!! We are both over joyed at this news. Now our family will be complete. One girl and one boy. I have to admit I was very shocked because for some reason I kept thinking I was having another girl. All the old wives tales pointed to girl. My husband is unbelievably happy.

We really need some help on picking a name for our little one. We cant seem to decide. We are looking for a name that is not too common and that is an english name, as that is tradition in my family. Any suggestions???? All suggestions would be very much appreciated. I have been over the baby names so many times and we just dont know what to pick. Thanks ahead.
