First Treatment Cycle

Day 1 Saturday Feb 09

A/F showed up last night, what was very strange being exactly on day 32 of my cycle. I averaged my cycle out to 32 days but it's never usually on time. Could this be the metformin correcting it? I have started the baby asprin and the b12 vitamin.

Day 4 Tuesday Feb 10

I start clomid today. 50mg for five days. I had my u/s and blood done today also. They found 9 follicles on one ovary and 7 on the other. Last month there was only four at this time of my cycle. I go back next week to see how the follicles have matured. I am excited to see what the sizes will be.

Day 11 Tuesday Feb 17

Today I did my u/s and blood and the results came back that I have three follicles that are maturing. My right ovary has two at 12.4 mm and 12.1mm. My left ovary has one at 13.7mm. I was told that my linning was too thin (they think it's because of the clomid), so they put me on Estradiol for 7 days to increase it. My next appointment is Friday.

I am really hoping these follicles grow alot more by friday!!

Day 14 Friday Feb 20

After taking the estradiol for a few days now, I have had some major side effects from it. Last night I was so sick feeling dizzy , cramping , my tummy was turning inside out. The clomid increased my sex drive and the estradiol has lowered it. My follicles did grow more since my last appointment. After my u/s and blood today my results were Right ovary- 18.9mm and 12.5mm Left ovary- 15.1mm. I was told the 15 and 18 are maturing really good. I should ovulate this weekend. They told me to bd tonight and sunday. I go back monday morning to find out if in fact I did ovulate. Let's hope I do ovulate this weekend and everything works out good..

Day 17 Monday Feb 23

I was told today that I did Not ovulate over the weekend. My results from the u/s were right ovary -21mm and 18mm, not sure of the left I didnt get a chance to look. The follicles are really good in size and ready. They gave me the trigger (HCG) shot in my belly to bring on ovulation. I was told to bd tomorrow and Thursday. I had to pay 90 dollars for the trigger shot and 50 dollars for progestrone. I have to start the progestrone on friday 2x a day for 12 days. When that is done I need to go back for a pregnancy blood test. I also have to start taking baby asprin on friday. Wish me luck ladies...

Day 24 Monday March 2

I had a really big bruise from the shot in my belly. Looked like a tennis ball. My belly was tender for a few days. I took a HPT test today to make sure that the hcg shot has left my body and it has the test came back bfn. Now I am on my two week wait. grrr I hate this wait!! I have an appointment for a review on March 12. A/f is scheduled to show up on March 11. I am hoping it dont show and I get my bfp!! At this point I am not feeling too good about it.

Day 28 Friday March 6

I have been doing the cheapo dollar store hpt tests most of the week. They kept coming up bfn!! Well Today I had a super faint second line! Could it be? or am I seeing things? Have been cramping alot today and feel pretty tired.

Day 29 Saturday March 7

I went and bought the most sensitive test you can buy. The first response five days sooner. I woke up really early this morning and took the test.. BFP!!! I couldnt believe it! The second line showed up not very dark. So I took the digital one also and it came up PREGNANT!! I am so excited!! Only one month of treatment!!!! Now for my next worry. Let's just hope this is a sticky one!! I should be four weeks along today
