31-7-2009 - New Doctors

My mood while writing this blog: ok

First off I want to Thank you all for your support!! Everyone is so amazing on this site!!

I had a call the other day from my ob telling me she no longer will take me. What I dont understand is I was just there a couple weeks ago and she didnt mention anything to me. Apparently after reviewing my file she has decided she does not want to liable and is trying to send me to Toronto to see a high risk doctor. I put up abit of a fuss because Toronto is far from me. I did find another high risk clinic that is alittle closer and I am trying now to get in to that. So as it stands I dont have a doctor until or if I get accepted to the new one. Back to the waiting game. They wont be doing my ultra sound or anything. They basically said they can no longer care for me because I am so high risk.

On the up side... I had my birthday yesterday and I really thought it was going to be so depressing because every year I spend it with my mom. This year my dad came to my house and spent the day with me and it was really nice. I feel the baby moving often. In the mornings, at night before i fall asleep and sometimes after I eat. It really helps me stay strong.

Hopefully I will get an appointment soon and check on the placenta. I will keep you all posted.. Thanks again for the support!!!
