03-9-2009 - High Risk Clinic

My mood while writing this blog: happy

I had my first appointment last week with the high risk clinic. I really like it there. I found my new ob very infomative. He is a male, and I much prefer a female but he made me feel very comfortable. Not so crazy over my new diabetic doctor but oh well you win some you lose some.

They checked my weight, blood pressure, urine, baby's heart beat and everything was fine. She has a very strong heart beat. They did find a tiny bit of protein in my urine but I was told it was so trace it's nothing to worry about. I have to go back this week to see them all again to adjust my insulin levels. Next week I will have a ultra sound to check on the placenta and baby weight.

This new ob told me that the low lying placenta is not to worry about until later on. He took me off bedrest for now. He looked over my previous ultra sound and said it is not blocking my cervix and good chance it will move up by my next ultra sound. Crossing my fingers hoping it has moved.

I have been shopping and buying tons and tons of baby stuff. I think I am all set now. Now I am just working on packing a hospital bag. I have been out more often now, that I am so thankful for. I was getting so sick of being in bed and stuck in the house!!

I left there feeling really good, that everything will be fine.

I made it to the last trimester, I am sooo very excited to meet baby Bonnie.
