| 28-10-2009 - Ultra sounds | My mood while writing this blog:Good |
Oct 6th they did the measurements and guessed the babies weight was 5.3lbs what was just a tiny bit over what it should be for that time. I have had many small ultra sounds since then to keep an eye on my fluid. My fluid has jumped up and down constantly. Highest it went so far was 9.1 and last ultra sound on Oct 23 it was back down to 7. The doctors still have no clue why my fluid is so low but because of this, I have to go at least once a week for a ultra sound and to see the ob. My weight, blood preasure and everything else seems to be fine and on track.
I have talked to my doctor about being induced early because I live so very far from the hospital. He said he does not have a problem with it as long as it's after 37 weeks because he considers that full term anyhow.
Today I hit 37 weeks yay!!. I have another appointment on friday. My doctor was not there last friday so I am not sure what this appointment will entale.
Some days I feel so ready to just have her and hold her and others I feel scared about her health because of the low fluid and all that I have been through.
This has been a brutal year for me losing my mom, having a miscarriage, having so many difficulties with this pregnancy, but on the bright side I know when I see my new baby it will help make all that disappear.
They have me on super high doses of insulin now as I was told to expect. I will be so over joyed when I no longer have to take the shots anymore. I up to 6 shots a day and testing my blood many many times. I have done really well keeping my sugar levels at bay, I have had a few high and a few low. The low ones were pretty scary at first but now I know what I am doing better and able to treat it right away.
I feel her moving around often and it's an amazing feeling and great reassurance that she is ok. I have been having a terrible time sleeping and the back aches are out of this world. My hubby has been really great about it and been giving me massages on demand hehehe.. I now also having troubles getting up and moving around. I have tried to go shopping a few times but get so tired so easy.
I did the Group B step test and thankfully it came back Neg. Woohoo one less thing to worry about.
I am still stuck on trying to find a middle name for Baby Bonnie. Any suggestions would be great!!
