My mood while writing this blog: Anxious |
So Sunday night I decided to take my prenatal vitamin ( haven't taken it in weeks cause of my nausea, didn't want to make it worse) I took my vitamin WITH dinner and shortly after I got very sick.
Monday--only a twinge of queasiness twice. ( i actually drank milk and loved it!) *only had one "gag"*
Tuesday(today)--So far, so good. I had a big cinamon roll and milk for breakfast. Only a slight tiny feeling of queasiness once this morning. *1 gag moment so far* (it is only 7:30am--ill update later if any change during the day)

Friday, 8 May If it's the prenatals making you sick... Stop taking them!
I've tried so many different kinds now, and believe that I've finally found one that works. (GNC's, One-A-Day's, and countless others made me sick every single time, even in the 3rd trimester).
So I asked around on a few forums, and lots of people told me about Rainbow Lights which are only sold at health food stores, and there aren't any stores like that in this city. So I went to Vitamin World. Their prenatals contain Ginger and Peppermint and several other herbs which keep you from feeling sick. I've had them the last 2 days and they're working really well for me. They smell like peppermint candy. Last night I took them with some chips and salsa and still didn't feel sick. I'm amazed at how well they're agreeing with me. They contain more calcium than most prenatals do too. I'm even taking a dha supplement and extra vitamin c.
So, don't torture yourself with the vitamins. I did that for WAY too long, and found out that I wouldn't even have had 'morning sickness' the last couple of months if I'd just been taking different vitamins. Hopefully that's the case for you too. kelleybelley -
