08-7-2009 - IT\'S A BOY

My mood while writing this blog: still in shock

So today was my 20 week OB visit & ultrasound. My mom gave me a ride since our van is not with us right now. LOL. My ultrasound was to be at 10:30. I didn't get called till 10:45. I was soo nervous and excited. I had a feeling it was a boy, but I kept the thought of girl on the back burner, just cause I knew i had 2 girls in a row already. Plus I was already prepped with my girls clothes i still have. The tech was scanning, measuring and i know from previous scans what a girl looks like, before she was even saying anything, i could have sworn i saw a pee pee. I was like, that's probably just something else. I got prepared to hear girl.....then she said it was a boy and I about had a heart attack. I was so shocked i started crying. Finally! I thought, Christopher will have his brother he has been begging me for. I remember he had told me if it was a girl he was going to scream and cry and be mad. Well, while still getting scanned, my mom and I started calling folks. Called Christopher at home (he was with a sitter, my brother) and my mom told my brother first, then he handed Christopher the phone, and Christopher said "i don't want to hear it.....what is it?" I said "im sorry to tell you, but, IT'S A BOY!" The sono tech could hear him yelling for joy and she laughed, he was so loud. I called hubby Kris and he didn't answer, so a minute later he called back and i said "it's a boy" and he said "really?" I think he was in shock as well. So there you have it, 2 boys, 2 girls. What i always wanted. I always wanted to have 2 of each, so they would be equal, and have someone to play with. Yes, I am soooo getting my tubes tied afterwards! Oh, and here's an update on the name:

Okay, well, i just asked Kris if he knew our baby boys name, and he said "Rylan James". So he obviously forgot he had picked Aiden off of my 2nd draft of baby names list. So we promise, no more changes! Babys name will officially officially officially be: Rylan James Hall. That is the 2nd official name I had chose. LOL. Sorry! So Rylan is the name. Its staying, i promise! haha

first: hunter james
then it was rylan james
then it was aiden james
now its back to rylan james...........lol
