08-11-2009 - Curious?

My mood while writing this blog:
Hohumm

So I have been thinking about babies lately. My little guy is almost 10 months old and my sister has a two month old so I am around a SMALL baby again lol! It seems like the majority of my old pregnancy friends on here are pregnant again.

Am I crazy for wanting another baby? Is it too soon?

I feel left out when I come to this site for some reason :/ ?? I miss being pregnant and being on the weekly pages.. although I don't know how I would keep up with those pages when I can't even find time to stop in daily on the monthly page!

Joel is getting so big and I LOVE LOVE this stage in his life but I really miss the tiny baby stage!

I'm scared of having another c-section though so whenever I get excited about maybe trying to concieve again I get this jitters about another c-section and the hospital stay. I had such a horrible time in the hospital when Joel was born that I am SO over hospitals and doctors. My c-section went perfectly and I had no problems so I don't know why I worry about having another one.
I suppose I worry about another scar and scar tissue on the inside and all that..

Anyways..

tyler had to spend week in NICU and i was scared to have another baby bc i was worried it would happen again. When i found out i was pregnant i was scared,happy and upset. but i am happy to be pregnant again. i am still lil worried but i am really happy. its all up to you. you will know when your really ready to have one...mine was suprise

I totally understand where you are coming from! I had a C-section too and although I never had any complications the thought of another one and the healing process isn't so glamourous! We are off BC now just letting things happen when they happen for conceiving baby #2...i miss having a little baby around too! I also feel sorta lost on this site now too since a lot of ladies are pregnant again! Good luck with what you decide to do and know you are totally not alone!

i feel the same way you do also! A LOT of people are pregnant again! and i want to be part of that again... ive been thinking about wanting another baby again to.. but i need to do something with my schooling before i do... but im right there with you! :(

Hi Amy, it is unfortunate that you have those feeling regarding a c-section to put you off, but as Rachy said, it is such a small part of your life compared with the end result!! Good luck to you in whatever your decision Amy! xxx

Hey im feeling the EXACT same! Most people around our month are pregnant, and alot of people I know are too, so ive seriously got the baby bug. What I'll say about the hospital and doctors - that will be such a small chapter in your life, and once the delivery is done with, you'll get to go home and enjoy your baby. I feel bit bad thoiugh, as i had a brilliant hospital etc and dont feel like i can offer any advice, but id say if your broody, and financially ok-ish, go for it! I am sur eJoel would LOVE 2 be a big bro!!

Your not alone hun.... i think the same on a regular basis and Seth is only 5 months!!!It is one of those things if you experience it once you can become addicted. (being pregnant that is)I too feel a bit lost on this site now i am not pregnant. So ive had a few explores on other sites like cafemom etc. But something keeps me here still.I think for me its too early to purposely try for a 2nd bub. But by mid next year i could consider it. Thats only if i decide not to do midwifery.Oh man i babble... but know your not alone xx
