What was your first reaction?: I almost fell down the stairs while running to get my cell phone I was so excited! I found out that I was pregnant exactly a month after my three month old chihuahua (Molly Baby a/k/a Baby) passed away. It was a very special moment for me. I felt that she had given me a baby to help me with the loss of my other "baby".

Who was with you when you found out?: I was alone with my two cats. lol. They thought that I had gone insane I was jumping around the house screeching!

Who was the first person you told?: I called my mom, then my sisters, then the ladies at the office. I tried to call my husband first but he was out of signal ALL day. I even called his supervisor trying to get a hold of him but nope! I had to wait ALL day to tell him!

How did your parents react?: I woke them up :) they were really excited. They knew how much it had hurt me to have Baby die and they were just so excited for me and Bobby.

How far along are you?: Almost 18 weeks.

What was your first symptom?: My first symptoms were actually feeling a little nauseated and really tired... but I didn't realize these were symptons of being pregnant. My chihuahua Baby was so sick for the first month 1/2 that I was pregnant before she died that I didn't think anything of being sick and tired myself.

What is your due date?: U/s technician said that it was January 26th but I know it is the second week of January due to conception date. She was going off of lmp which was incorrect.

Do you know the sex of the baby?: yes

If so, what is it?: he's a boy!

Have you picked out names?: one

If so, what are they?: Joel Aiden Evers

How much weight have you gained?: right around two pounds

Do you have stretch marks?: no not yet. I'm not very big so I might not get them until I start popping out.

Have you felt the baby move?: yes- I have felt him move since I was 14 weeks.

Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes! Bobby was with me the first time to hear it!

About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: I plan on it! This baby is a miracle

Home or hospital birth?: birthing center with my midwife

Natural or medicated birth?: natural water birth as long as everything turns out okay with the placenta placement

Who will be in the delivery room with you?: my husband, my mom, and my sister if she wants to be there

Will you breastfeed?: YES

Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I am praying that I will not need one. My placenta is too low right now but we are praying it will move up over the next few weeks.

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: I cried when I held both of my sister's babies- I KNOW I will cry when I hold mine lol

What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: I have no idea!

Would you let someone videotape the birth?: eehhh not sure

Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Both.. this is my first and I am not sure how the 'natural' thing will go so I am a little scared about that part but am so excited to have a baby of my own!
