I had my 28 week appointment today at 2. Joel's heartrate sounded great and has slowed a bit (was 150s or higher). I'm measuring 24 weeks :( and Joel is still comfortably head up and sideways. She estimated his weight to be around 2 pounds. I think that he is still a little small but I'm doing all I can to make sure he is getting the nutrients that he needs.. I hope! I've gained 17 pounds! About 7 of it in the past week yikes! I was going to discuss my transfering to the hospital for the birth but I got the on call midwife because my other two midwifes that i normally see were delivering at the birth center. I just didn't feel comfortable enough with her to discuss my personal feelings and concerns about my choice for labor. I'm almost 100% sure that I will be going with the hospital birth and will continue to see my midwife for regular dr. appointments up until I go unto labor. I've started my two week appointments! My next appointment is November 4th. I just can't believe it is almost November ALREADY! Gosh Joel is going to be here soon!

Good to hear everything is well. And I'm sure that Joel will put on weight soon. I am small also in the tummy area(and everywhere else it seems is where I've gained my weight, blah!), but the doctor says all is well. I really look like I'm only 6 months or so. Oh well. God bless! Sarah
