My mood while writing this blog: Excited

This is going to be my nursery blog! I'll update it as I go.. the newest additions will be up top. In date order :o)

November 2009-

Crib with the boat mobile that I got from the baby shower!

Bumper and crib skirt!

Some of his stuffed animals at the foot of his crib.

All of his animals in his co-sleeper (along with his two security blanket thingys.. our family calls them 'silkies'). This will be in my bedroom after he is born.

Just needs a picture of Joel now! It's hanging above his toy shelf

All of his toys (shoes on the bottom shelf for now). I still need to paint the brown basket white.. 95% of these are from my sister's two babies :o)

Book shelf and picture frames that I made. The trashcan at the bottom isn't staying there.. it's just holding my craft stuff for now.

Close up of the frams. After I got his crib set I noticed that these little emblems actually match part of his comforter (different colors but same design!).

Close up of the shelf.. the bottom shelf isn't finished. just storage for now. The sailor men on top I got off of ebay.. the binkie basket is from my mom, the books are all from my mom, the boat book ends are off ebay, the little 'boat' letters on the second shelf also from ebay, the handprint/footprint is from my aunt, and the white "baby's firsts" photo box is from my little sister. His trashcan is on the bottom shelf along with a sailer/ship photo box that I've got his scrapbooking stuff in for now.

October 30th, 2008- Thursday.

I finally found the perfect letters for Joel's nursery. I went in Joann's yesterday and saw the big letters. Up until this point I have only been able to find like the 5 inch letters but since his name is so short I wanted the bigger letters. YAY! I found them lol! I also got some one the smaller letters for his door and the little boats that I wanted to hang them from.

These are the big letters which I am hanging over his changing table. The size is about 12 inches.

Making a mess!!

These are the letters to hang from the little boats on his nursery door. They are about 5-6 inches high.

Got alot of red paint under my fingernails with these lol

My little helpers.. Fuzz on the left and Misty on the right. They are so curious about all the baby stuff! And yes I was constantly blowing cat furr off the things as they dried!
