22-12-2008 - 37 week drs app

My mood while writing this blog: Irritated

So I measured 33 weeks today.. is it possible to measure smaller but be up 6 pounds than two weeks ago? I'm so frustrated with trying to talk dates with drs... what if I measure 35 weeks when I'm actually 42? They going to "let me go" until I actually measure like a freakin 40 weeker? He estimated him to weigh more than 6 pounds.. called him "hefty" for his week.. no durrrr!! of course he's hefty!! Cause he isn't 33 weeks!!! Honestly how DO these people graduate medical school?? They didn't do the ultrasound :( or other testing because my cervix is closed (soft still but closed) so he didn't see an urgent need for a growth ultrasound. He said he could feel his head, that he was low, and is engaged. Does that sound like 33 weeks to you?? I didn't think so... He also ignored the 4 contractions that I had in the half hour he was with me.. and he left my due date at January 29th (which is the date my 1st U/S gave me) EVEN THOUGH the last U/S I had done on Nov. 18th put Joel at almost 32 weeks which means an est. due date around January 7th. I pitched a fit and got the strep test done because there is no way I'm letting them give Joel the IV at the hospital just because my dr is a douche and won't get with the correct dates! I've got another app. for next Monday.. if I make it that long.. I've had period like cramps for two days straight now and a burning in my pelvis.. I almost fell over in Walmart yesterday because it hurt so bad. I tell you all what though.. if I go into labor and go to the hospital and they try to give me the shot to stop labor (cause I'm only "33" weeks) I'm going to tear the whole freakin place apart..

I wish Joel would come this week... I am so over being pregnant and dealing with drs.. I just want him to be home with me in my arms.
