Hello prego mommies....I need your help. I am almost 24weeks and have recently developed an appetite that would put a cow to shame. I cant stop eating. I know you should take in a few extra calories while pregnant but come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I consumed a HUGE rib eye steak........FOR BREAKFAST!! I dont even eat steak. Every morning for the past week or so i tell myself, "today im going to be healthy, only eat when im hungry, and lay off the junk." Than after my morning bowl of cereal a feeding frenzy starts and i cant seem to control it. I have been doing great thus far and now im getting scared. This is exactly how it all happend with my first and i ended up gaining 65 lbs. It took me over a year of hard work to lose it just to find out i was pregnant again. I cant gain all of the weight back again. That is not just me being weird either. That was the doctors orders. I had to have my labor stopped a few times with my son and already have some pretty crazy contractions with this one. I also have a low lying placenta that could result in placenta previa. I need to watch my weight in order in hopes of helping my placenta migrate up and fully attatch. I go to the gym 6 days a week and do some cardio but even that will do any good at the rate that i am consuming food. Just was wondering if any of you mommies have tricks up your sleeves in order to help me. Any advice is appriciated! Im willing to try anything. Tuesday, 6 Jan Yeah same here! I gained 3 stone with my first pregnancy, all i would eat was mcdonalds and quavers!! I ate like a pig!!! This time round eat little and often, snack on fruit and drink lots of water and smoothies. Thats my plan! x lilshell77 -

Monday, 29 Dec I drink a lot of water and juice and I think it helps. Try to keep fruit around the house too, so when you get hungry you can grab a piece of fruit. Then you won't feel bad for eating junk food. I try my best to keep junk food out of the house too. I hope this will help:)
