K so all of you that have chatted with me know i was a complete heifer with my first pregnancy. I was lazy, gained 65lbs, and weighed well over 200lbs when i delivered. I worked my ass off with a trainer to get my body back in time for my wedding Aug. 2008. About a week before the wedding i found out that i was 6weeks pregnant and totally freaked out about gaining all of the weight back. After gaining my composure and chatting with the doc i decided to continue to work out during this pregnancy as much as i could. I only put on 3.5lbs at first by the time i was 22weeks. So i thought i was doing ok at first and then the holiday rolled around. Than i gained 5lbs in a month. So the doc tried to put my mind at ease by letting my know that the baby was in the middle of a growth spurt and it would taper off. That was just 2 weeks ago at my 26week appt. Than i went in today and gained 3 effing pounds in 2 weeks. WTF??? Excuse my french but i have still been going to the gym 5-6days a week. Not doing extreem workouts but come on. 45minutes of cardio and some weights has to account for something. So now im pissy and the whole thing put me in a crappy mood of feeling big and fat. I also took my glucose test and still havent heard back on that. My regular doc was at the working at the hospitol this week so i had to see the other doc in her office. She is a good doc also but i just feel more comfortable with my regular doc. To top it all off my little mans heartrate dropped by 30bpm in 2weeks. It was at 124. She said we wont worry yet but if it keeps dropping they will do an ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid levels. they dont like it to go below 120 unless you are in labor. I guess it means something is causing the baby to be in distress when the heart rate drops. So anyhow I guess all i can do is try not to give into my cravings for the next 2 weeks and keep the weight gain in check at the next appt. I know i havent gained much yet but i still have 12 weeks left and if i am gaining 3lbs every 2 weeks...that will be another 18lbs by the time i deliver. Not good. I have been craving sooooo much sugary stuff tho and i know that has alot to do with the gain. Im just going to try to stay healthy for the next to weeks and get back on track. Sorry about the total bitching session ladies. Im sure i am not in this alone and all of us have our days...just needed to get it off of my chest. I hope all of you are doing well and until the next dreaded weigh in at 30weeks....Ta ta for now.

Friday, 30 Jan Awww... hun' I just have to tell ya that your gorgeous, trust me I know that doesn't exactly make you feel better but I think you look great regardless of what the scale says! Feel free to vent because I totally understand! I go in a week and a half and am scared because although I've tried to do better I worry it will just keep creeping up?! Anyway glad to hear baby is doing good :) hang in there gal and I agree that you should be proud that you get to the gym still.... I'm lucky if I force myself to walk around the neighborhood for 30 minutes with the kiddos lol! TTYL :) Becs -

Thursday, 29 Jan I cant believe you still hit the gym..lol...my lazy ass looked at being pregnant as an excuse to not go..LOL ..I keep telling myself 6-8 weeks after Aidyns born I'll get back to the gym....but Im gonna miss the laziness :) lol
