01-4-2009 - 37 week checkup

My mood while writing this blog: BIIIIIIIIG!!

So I had my checkup today. I had lost my mucous plug yesterday so i thought for sure i would be dialated more than the 2cm i was last week. I am at a 2.5cm so not much more however at my 36week checkup i was 50% effaced and now i am a good 85%. She said my cervix is almost gone. That makes me happy but i gained another 2lbs in a week and started to really freak about that until she measured my fundus. Baby Brady has definatly gone thru another growth spurt. I am measuring 41cm at 37weeks so that explains the weight gain. She is estimating him to be around 8lbs right now so we will see if his growing slows down a bit. Hopefully it does or else i may be delivering a very big baby. So anyways she thinks i will be seeing her again next wednesday for another checkup which makes my husband happy cuz i will get in another week of work. Ha. LOL!!
