Harleigh-Nicole-Harper`s birthstory
I will post a longer birth story later, but for now here is what happened.
As you all are aware, our little girl was breech and didn`t want to turn her little self around. We did everything we could to try and get her to turn including the final process of External Cephalic Version (ECV). We went in Wednesday morning knowing that we would either have success and induce labor or not succeed and end up in a c-section. After receiving the epidural (required for procedure) we began the ECV. As this was the most painful experience of my life, we were not successful. Our Harleigh`s heartrate dropped down to the 40`s when it should always remain 130+. This was a very scary moment for us and after receiving oxygen for myself to help Harleigh come back around, we got her HR back in the 130`s. Once her HR was back up, we were taken back for a c-section and just minutes later delivered a beautiful baby girl ! She is healthy as can be and we were actually only in the hospital for 2 1/2 days cause I recovered so well and she is just so perfect! I hope the best for all of you and I know ya`ll look forward to meeting your babies! I will post pics next!
