Sophia`s birthstory

It all started when I went to my dr.`s appt. on Thursday and she did a stretch and sweep. I was scheduled for an induction that coming Monday.
By Friday, I was having contant cramps and by Saturday they turned into contractions. Early Sunday morning, around 5 a.m. I realised that the contractions were actually real labour and they were coming about 6 to 10 minutes apart. By 6 a.m. they had gone to about 4 minutes apart and my boyfriend decided for me that it was time to go the hospital. By the time we got to the hospital the contractions were 2 to 3 minutes apart and I was in a lot of pain. The nurse checked me and I was only 3 cm dilated. So I waited and endured the contractions until I was at least 4 cm, which took a couple of hours. So around 10 a.m. I finally gave in a was very happy to receive the epidural, which by the way, was absolutely fantastic for me! I pretty much just waited out the rest of my labour until I was told to push.
Sophia Lindsey Marie Edgley-Burnett was born at 6:25 p.m. after 12 minutes of pushing.
I am absolutely in love with her and I LOVE being a mother.
