Elora-Rose`s birthstory

Well a day before I went to the hospital I had contractions every 2 minutes but with no pain so I just waited it out. The next morning I woke up and they were still coming on so I called the Dr. and he told me to go to the hospital.

When I got there they checked me and I was a 3 so the Dr. told me to walk around for an hour and if I was not a 4 then he would send me home. I went walking and the pressure was getting heavier. Went back to my room at 9 was checked and at a 4 so he said I was a keeper and he broke my water. An hour went by no change so they started pitocen. At 11:30ish I was a 5 and they uped the dosage of pitocen. They came back at 1:15 and I was a 6 and I asked when I should request the stadol since I didn`t want an epi and she told me pretty soon. She left the room my husband asked about how long they thought I had and they said 2-3 hours. After she left my husband went outside with my sister and I all of a sudden feel so much pressure I paged the nurse and I started shaking telling her I need to push.

She checked me and I was a 10 within 5 minutes of being a 6. We called my husband and he ran upstairs. When he got there I was like I cant hold her in any longer they said wait the Dr. isn`t hear and I told them she is coming I cant wait anylonger and 2 pushes later the nurse delivered my beautiful bundle of joy...no tairs rips or anything THANK GOD. The Dr. came in a few minutes later and apologized for not making it in time...it was funny.

All I have to say is for the ladys that are trying without pain meds it is such a faster and better recovery. When I had my epi with my son I was just out of it for days and I am already out and about with my daughter and feeling great....don`t let anyone discourage you on having your baby natural...it is so worth it!!
