Well I had a doctors appointment Wednesday June 11 and was scheduled to be induced Thursday the 12th @ 6:00 AM. The doc checked me and told me I was dialated to 2 and 25% effaced. Told me to go home and he would see me for the induction in the morning. So I went home depressed and nervous. I went to the bathroom and noticed I had lost my mucus plug. Which I continued to lose through out the day. I had some contractions but nothing regular. Around 9 I started having my mother in law time my contractions. By 10:30 my contractions were not real painful or long but they were 2 minutes apart for over an hour so we decided to go to the hopital. I got to the hospital at 11 PM and my contractions were still 2-3 minutes apart, I was dialated to 4 and 90% effaced. The nurse broke my water at 12:30 when I was dialated to 5 and then everything started moving faster. I made it to 8 before I asked for some medication. I got some type of medicine in the IV that relaxed me between contractions but didn't help with the pain that much. The next thing I know I was dialated to 9 and it certainly didn't take me long to move from 9-10 like minutes I swear. The doc told me to begin pushing and I pushed 5 times and Ms. Adia Jayleigh was brought into this world @ 1:56 A.M. She blessed me so I didn't have to be induced the next morning! Thank goodness.
