Ethan-James`s birthstory
Went for ultrasound on 16th and amniotic fluid was 4.24 (very low) so dr wanted to start me on cervadil to soften cervix. Contractions started right away and intensified throughout the night. At 7am I was given pitocin... that was painful because contractions really intensified then... around 11am I was dilated 2 cm and my water broke. Thats when pain really started... the gave me an epidural shortly there after and I was finally able to rest. At 2:45pm I was dilated 5 cm, then at 5:45pm I was at 6 cm. Dr was worried and felt like it was best to get Ethan out. His heart rate was dropping with each contraction and I was on oxygen. So, I was rushed to surgery and at 6:12 pm Ethan was born. A very healthy little boy who scored a 9 on both his apgar tests.

Cameron-Robert-Turner`s birthstory
I had a regular check up that day at 2:30, the doctor was running behind and I didnt see him till 4:30... he asked how the baby was moving and I told him that he had slowed down some. So then he asked how my kick counts were going and I told him I hadnt been doing them because when I can get comfortable I fall asleep. So, he sent me over to the hospital for an NST test and an AFI check. Hospital is attached to the doctors office and it was too late to do the NST in their office. So, off to the hospital I went. While there I was having contractions on a regular basis and they were getting very uncomfortable. So after an hour 3 hours of being monitored and and ultrasound, Dr. Jackson decided to go ahead and do the c-section, so I was admitted and preped. And at 10:24, we welcomed Cameron Robert Turner into our lives. He was perfect and quickly got the name chunky monkey...lol. Although he is still a very tiny baby and the newborn clothes fall off of him... He has definately added a joy to our lives. Him and ethan get along so far, lol. Anyway, this was our birth story.
