Jada-`s birthstory

Well ladies on Mothers day I had a follow up visit at the hospital for a nst. After church and spending some time with my kids I headed there. Well after 2 long hours of monitoring they told me my little one wasnt doing enough. They then told me to go eat and come back which I did. Afterwards they put me back on the monitor and after another hour I was told I would be admitted and induced. Okay Im excited 6 day overdue but the catch was I was not dialated or effaced. So 8pm mothers day cervadel was inserted to soften the cervics and 8 am May 12 it was taken out and I was checked YAY 3cm now were making progress. I waited to be checked by the head ob and he then ordered the Pitocin. Well ladies all I can say is after three sons Miss Jadas contractions were the first to make me want to cry. An hour into it I had to negotiate with myself to get the epidural and after 3 labors with no drug I felt like I was wimping out. But I decided I had nothing to prove at this point. Well at 11:50 am I told hubby to let someone know I felt the need to push. The midwife came to check and told the doctor I was ready. He asked could I hold out while he started a c-section. I said sure how long he said about 10mins. So I laid back and the midwife broke my water and checked and said she was still pretty high. After about 3 min she asked if I want to push I could to help her down. Well first push Jada's head was out and it shocked the hell out of the mid wife she said stop pushing. She did all she had to do and on push #2 Miss Jada was born at 12:05pm May 12, 2008 7lbs 5oz. 19 inches long. It was beautiful.
