Elora-Yvaine`s birthstory
Well we expected a quick labor and delivery like my previous 2 but this one didnt want to come out, my drip was started at 9 am, my water broke at 1, but was only a 2. Finally at 5pm I was a 5 and began to progress. at 7 pm they said I was a 8, but as soon as she finished checking me i felt it was time to push, they waited 30 min before checking me again and this time she was nearly crowned, It only took about 2 big pushes before she was born. I was crying in pain and cried even harder when I heard her cry. I did have an epidural, but honestly didnt like it one bit. She is definately different than her siblings, this was an entirely new birth experience for me, it was longer and I actually had time for an epidural this time. been alot more sore after this one tho.

Cailyn-Michelle-Reese`s birthstory
On july 3rd about 630 I began having contractions, they were regular, but not painful so i drank some water and ignored them. At about 930 that night they increased pain wise so i decided to go get checked. I was a 3 so they admitted me. Unfortunately the epidural slowed my labor so i stayed that way for a while. Since the epidural slowed it so much they ended up adding some pitocin to my IV to help. It didnt. I labored all night, all morning, and finally come early afternoon things began moving. My doc checked me said its time so we got started. I did a couple weak pushes when suddenly Cailyns heartrate dropped to the 80s. So now I have a room full of nurses and my hubby, mom and sister plus a resident doc all cheering me on to hurry and get her out now. Ive never pushed so hard in my life, all I could think was that we were gonna lose her. She came out completely entangled in her cord and blue. the doc got the cord off and got her crying I cried right with her. I was so preoccupied making sure Cialyn was ok that I didnt notice the doc was still working on me until he began yelling at the nurse to give me certain meds. I turned to my mom asked what was going on, she patted my leg and told me `its ok baby` I knew then something was wrong. I looked at my doc, and he explained that my uterus was not contracting so the artieries were just sitting there open. , he had one hand in me applying pressure so I didnt bleed to death and one hand massaging my uterus trying to get it to contract. I was waiting for him to ask ppl to step out which meant its REALLY bad. they upped my pitocin as high as it would go, gave me a shot in my leg, and more pitocin in my IV before my uterus finally contracted. Finally all was well and I got to hold my 4th of July baby.
