Eleanorah-Jean-Olivia`s birthstory

We had a scheduled c-section for today. Everything went really smoothly, and rather quickly! They weren`t wasting any time. I was able to hold my girl and see her as soon as possible, way sooner than when my son was born. Norah was wrapped up in her cord, which had a big knot in it, so the Csection was good! The spinal went in well and everyone gushed over my newly pedicured toes, lol. Norah is not a cryer yet, we`ll see if that develops. She cryed some when she was born and again when it was time to have that first meconium diaper change. (But if I had that meconium coming out my bottom, I`d be crying too!) Breastfeeding is going ok so far, she seems to be such a laid back baby. She`s also been very alert, which is great for bonding. Her 3 year old big brother has been very curious and gentle with her. He loves taking pictures of her!
We are so happy that everything went smoothly. I have some extra pain from my csection which is paired with a UTI, but she is SOOO worth it.
