It actually started on Thursay the 13th when I keep feeling this pain in my stomach and it was about 10 min apart and the pain only lasted about 30 sec. So I call my doctor I go in and she says I have a UTI and that is what is causing the pain. Well I haven`t effaced any so I was told to go home take some meds and everything would be fine. Well, ITs now 4am Friday and the pain is getting worse so I have my mom page the doctor and she says take a shower for 30 min and call her back. well needless to say it didnt work so she said to come in at 8am. Well I get on the NST and they are monitoriing me and the baby. I get sent upstairs to L&D I stay for a few hours and get sent back home because it was the UTI causing me to contract and since I wasn`t ready to deliver there was no need to keep me. I go home druged up and sleep all day. Well later that night the pain got worse and was coming more frequently. So I try to take me another shower and calm down. I go to sleep and around 3 am I call my mom and say my contractions are 2 mins apart and last 50 sec. We grab no bag and head out. I was determined to not be sent back home. Yall I didnt even call my doctor I was done playin at this point.
So when I get there they take me in and Thank God I was dialeted to 3cm. They wheeled me to my room finished paper work and checked me again I was 5cm. They called for an epidural and 5 min he was there and I had the best drug in the world. I wasnt feelin no pain. So my mom makes all the phone calls that needed to be made and went to go get my lil sister. Well during that time I got to 8cm. Well while everything seems to be going well like I`m going to have a vaginal birth my son decides to get stuck right above my pelvic bone. Even though my contractions are pushing him down he just seems to not wanna go. So when I get to 10cm my epidural is so strong that I dont feel a contraction to push. So they decide to turn it off so I can feel something.OMG!!! never should they have done that. I feel for any woman who does not get a epidural...you a real trooper. Anyway I start to push and to no avail nothing. It is now 1:30 pm. They turn my epidural back on and we play the waiting game. It is now 3 pm and nothing. They stop the epidural again and we try to push. Yall I dont have it in me to push. I couldnt do. We tried teh tug a war game( where the nurse takes one end of the sheet and you take teh other and while you push you try to pull the nurse into you...that didnt work) They finally say c-section. They turn the epidural back on and prep me for the c-section. My mother came in with me and lemme just say that if I ever have another one and have to have a c-section that she will not be in there with me. She stands up over the curtain and looks and damn near passes out. Im so silly that I say `oh take a picture`....she start cryin and I ask her` what you cryin for?` She said `cause it look like they hurtin you` yall I was so drugged up I went to sleep and woke up to my lil man cryin. It was the sweetest sound I have ever heard. SO they stitch me up and got to enjoy my son shortly after.
