Charlie`s birthstory

started to feel uncomfortable at teatime on the friday night but i thought it might have just been a false alarm. At about midnight i was starting to get quite strong contractions that were comming every 10 minutes so i decided to go to hospital. They told me i was only 2cm dilated so they sent me home. I tried to get some sleep and the contractions eased off a little bit. At teatime on the saturday i was getting really painful contractions again so i went back to hospital and they told me i was 4cm. I tried using gas and air for a while but it was making me really dizzy so i got an epidural which i would recommend to everyone!!! At about 3.30am the midwife told me i was 10cm and to start pushing. I couldnt feel a thing because of the epidural. Charlie was born at 3.50am!!
