On Monday Oct 27th i went to the hospital at 7 am to be induced i ws really excited and kinda nervous i got addmited and wheeled up to my room they gave me a gown to put on and hooked me up to the machines to monitor my contractions and the babys heart rate. The nurse came in to check if i was dialated at all before the would put in my cervadil it hurt soo bad when she did the internal exam i cried in pain and she said that i wasnt dialated at all :( so then she called my doctor and put in my cervdil at 9am which was like another internal exam :( which i screamed and cried again, so she said to just rest and that they would check me again in 12 hours, so i waited i started to get some small contractions but they were managable then finally my 12hours were up and they checked me again they told me that i had not dialated which was really upseting and that they might need to put in another cervadil i really didnt want another one so i begged them to ask my doctor if they could start me on pitocin and thankfully they did i was haveing some pain now so i asked for some meds thru the iv i made me feel like i was drunk which was pretty funny and it helped with the pain but wore off after 1 1/2hours then i got my epidural and then i started to feel preassure around 5 am on the 28th they checked me again and told me i was 5-6 cenimeters dialated!!! i was sooo happy things were moveing along quickly times seemed to be flying by now at around 7:45am they checked me again and i was 8-9 cenimeters dialated so they told me they were going to call my doctor to come in and they said i would probably diliver the baby around 12pm so i thought i had alot of time my doctor got there at 8:25am checked me and said i was 10 cenemeters dialated!!!!! i was sooo happy i was about to see my baby the doctor told me that if i started pushing then i would be pushing for about 2-3 hours she told me to wait and labor down but i told her noooo i had to push and i grabed my legs up and started pushing at 8:35am i pushed and pushed and pushed and before i knew it at 9:02 am my son was born he was perfect and i'll never forget that momment!!!
