woke up 4.30 thursday morning with contractions
couldnt get back to sleep but i new this was it
rang hospital at 8am they sed to cum in when they were closer together or my waters break ,
2pm thursday i went in coz they were hurting got there and they seemed to have died down so i was so annoyed! got sent home went homw had so many baths anthony was doing great although he kept asking does it hurt babe :@silly man !
anyway my contractions started getting stronger by 6pm but i didnt wanna ring hosp bcoz i felt stupid for going in earlyer on so i jus held it out any way by 7.30pm the pain was hurting me so much and contractions were every 4 mins so got all my stuff and went hospital while i was in the car my contractions started cuming every 2 minits finally got to the labour suite and the pain hurt so much the midwife got me on the bed and did an internal to find out i was 6cm dialated!! she said i had done well to have stayed home all i was botherd about was the pain tho so i asked for gas and air i didnt work and gave me a horrible head rush and made me sound like micheal jackson lol !!
so the midwife said would you like to try a massage i sed ok at this point jillian (ants dads gf got there) and she gave me a bit of a massage that lasted about all of 2 seconds b4 i was like i want an epidural it was so painfull i cudnt sit down i cudnt walk i cudnt do anything it hurt so much anyway the anethatist took forever to cum eventually wen he did cum i was so relieved had the epidural put in and then i felt no pain it was great ! my next examination was at 12am when she did that i was 9 half cm dialated she sed were guna wait an hour then we will see if u can start pushing anyway got to about 3 and they sed my contractions wernt strong enuff and i needed to b put on a oxytocin drip to bring them on so i had the drip put in and then baby wasnt recovering back from the contractions quick enuff so she got the doctor in he sed turn the drip down so she did and he still wasnt recovering i was getting really scared so they said right were going to have to use the vontouse!! the doctors left to go and get it i really didnt want that while they were gone he started to recover and the midwife put my legs on the stirups and told me to start pushing so i did i think this was the best part of labour lol anyway an hour later (which only felt like 5 minits) riley was born and put starte on to me and screamed and screamed his heart out
in the room with me i had anthony and jillian and they helped me so much even tho anthony looked terrofied wen i was having contractions lol
