Kaydence-`s birthstory

Ok so my husband had to leave town this Th and Fri and we were both so afraid I would go into labor and miss the birth of his daughter! He has no choice but to go because I had been on bed rest for a month and his income is all we have. So Sunday night after researching alot on the internet I decided to try caster oil! I didn`t expect anything but to feel sick but boy was I wrong! It triggered my labor within two hours and I never felt sick or anything. I got to the hospital around 11pm. I had left my husband and daughter at home since they both had work and school the next day and I was not sure if I was really in labor. I have been having preterm labor for six weeks so having a lot of contractions was not a sign of labor for me. When I got to the hospital I was 100% effaced and dialated to a three. I still thought they might send me home but the baby was so low in the birth canal they decided it was active labor. I had my first daughter natrually and was bound and determined to get an epi this time! I proved my women hood with me first and had no interest in reliving that. My husband and daughter arrived and were both very excited and tired. I let myself labor for about five hours and then decided to have an epidural. Oh what a relief that was! But I still was not making much progress with dialating, I had only reached a 4. So my Dr decided to break my water. I could feel the epi running out so I asked if they could re fill it and they said no problem and paged the epidural dr. WELL little did we know I would go from a 4 to an 8 in 15 minutes! Needless to say the epi dr did not get there in time and here I was again going all natural! I thought I was going to die. Luckily I was at a 10 in no time and only had to push about 3-4 times and there she was....my beautiful baby girl. All 6 pounds and 1 oz of her. She is healthy and so sweet and content! I am so blessed!!!!! I have had some scary times during this pregnancy so holding her for the first time was very emotional.....I love her so much and could not be more greatful!
