Amiah-(Uh-Mee-Uh)-Jolie`s birthstory

Well, the funny thing is I was supposed to be induced on Saturday May 17th at 7 AM, but my little one wanted out sooner. :) Friday morning (May 16th) around 4:30 AM I woke up with an annoying backache. I just figured it was one of those pesky preggie aches, but it was so bad that I couldn`t go back to sleep. So, I ventured downstairs to try to wait out the pain only it never went away and by 6:30 am it went from a constant ache to a coming and going ache increasing in duration and intensity. By this time I was pretty sure this was more than a backache so I went back upstairs to tell my hubby what was going on. I called the doc and they said to go to L&D and have them check me out. I arrived at L&D around 9:15 am and was already dilated to 5! They brought me to my room, got my epidural going and was at 10 within a few hours! They baby was still a bit high so even though I was fully dilated, they wanted to let the baby drop a little bit more. Around 12:45 pm the epidural stated to wear off on my left side so the doc said it was time to push! I pushed through my next 3 contractions and out she came! My daughter is so adorable and I feel so blessed to be her mommy!
