I only wish I could remember every single detail but everything happened so quickly. On March 8th I went to the hospital with contractions, and almost got sent home because i wasn`t in active labor. Her heartrate kept dipping so they decided to keep me and induce. I had forgotten how painful contractions really are when you are on pitocin. After about 4-5 hours of being on pitocin they broke my water the contractions got even more intense so i decided on the epidural. I dont know what happened between 11:30 pm and 4:45 am but it felt like i went from 0 to 60 in like 3 seconds because in that amount of time i went from 3 cm to fully dialated and just in time for the epidural to wear off.. the intern checked me and had left to get the delivery room ready she must have been gone for about a minute but in that minute she started crowning and not just a little bit either lets just say i coughed and the baby almost came out . Three pushes and she was out barely even cried. She is absolutely perfect and the spitting image of her big sister. I dont think i would a thing.
