Logan-Eugene-Charles`s birthstory
I was scheduled for an induction on the 23rd at 6:30 a.m. On sunday the 22nd, I got up at 5 am and went to work and work my last 8 hour shift. I came home about 2:30 and I wanted to take a nap, I was so tired for some reason. My husband told me I better not take a nap because than I wouldn`t sleep that night and I had to be induced. I stayed up anyway. We ate supper and then my husband asked me if I wanted to go for a walk. I said sure-- So we got up and started a walk. Not even 5 min. into the walk, my water breaks..... CRAZY!! I didn`t know what it was at first, or should I say I didn`t want to believe what it was. I told Jason we needed to go home and I needed to change my pants and to figure out what was going on. Once we got there, there was more coming out of me, We decided that my water really had broke. Around 8 pm the contractions were starting to get about 8-10 min. apart, but they were only mild. We put our daughter to bed and decided that we needed to go to the hospital since my water had broke almost 4 hours ago. Once we got there we told them that we were supposed to be there in the morning anyway and my water had broke... so we got into a room and got the paperwork done and the IV in. After some very painful contractions I decided to get some nubane to help me get throught the contractions. Then at 12:30 I had an epidural. It was great, I didn`t feel a thing, it was the greatest thing. I started pushing at 3:20 a.m. and my son was born at 3:28 a.m. I even got to feel his head coming out... it was a very amazing birth!
