Tyler-Alexander`s birthstory

My waters started trickling on Sunday afternoon but were greenish coloured so we made our way to the hospital in case the baby had had a bowel movement. We arrived at l&d at 4.30 pm and i was monitored for 2 hrs...everything seemed fine with the baby but the doctor confirmed the waters contained meconium and decided to speed up my labour with a drip,although i was already having contractions every 15 minutes. They started the drip at 8pm and contractions started coming closer and stronger straight away,so at 8.45 i started gas and air which helped a bit. I had continuousback pain and each contraction brought the most intense pressure in my bum. At 10 pm ,i started to feel the urge to push and baby Tyler Alexander James was born at 10.05 pm ,weighing a whopping 10 lb 4oz!
Unfortunately,i suffered a post partum hemmorrage and had to go to theatre at 1am to have clots removed and spent the night in a low dependancy unit as my blood pressure dropped to 60/30..

We`re both doing fine now though and i am completely smitten....
