Devon`s birthstory

6:00am Saturday the 26th of July I woke up and was havng contractions, I tried changing positoins and drinking water and they still would come. They initially started out and were 7 minutes apart lasting about 35 seconds but were very painful. I had all the girls here wiih me(hubby wasn`t home from work yet)., of all mornings they decided that mommy was ok and that they would play instead of getting dressed,hubby didn`t believe that I was really going into labor. I called my on call to let them know that I was on my way and come to find out no one from my practice was on call because they all went to a party the night before. I made it labor and delivery at 7:55 am, I was contracting every 4 mintues by then and they had no beds available me and another woman arrived at the same time. I inally got a room at 8:45 am and the contractions were every 3 minutes. Around 11:00 a doc from my group finally made it in and, he had the nerve to say that he was going to send me home. I told him to check the monitor to read the contractions and by then they were 2 minutes apart(I was crying when I made it here). He decided that they would just section me and I went in the o.r at 12:06pm , it took anesthesia 6 tries to place my spinal because i couldn`t hold the position. Devon made his appearance at 1:04 pm
