We went to hospital at 4:30 in the afternoon when my water broke. My sister and my mom just got here the night before so I was super excited that they were here to share the moment with me. We also live in traffic craziness so we had to drive on the shoulder to the exit with our flashers on. A little crazy for me. I went in the hospital and swabbed me to make sure that my water broke. Then checked to see how far I was dilated I was at three. I also started getting my anitbotics for my strep b test. The doctor came in said that If I wasn't making progress between 8-10 that night that we would have to use poitcin. I was okay with that since the longer they would wait the more chance of baby getting infection. So they started poitcin and babys heartbeat dropped. So I had to start switching from side to side. Then they got his heartbeat back up. They stopped poticin and said that they were going to see if my body would do it on its own. Well when they came up to give me a boost on the epi. I came down with fever and that wouldn't go down. So they started making me push. I pushed for about an half hour. Then my fever wouldn't break and they realize baby was stuck. I had to have an emergency c section. Baby had to go to the nciu for the first 48 hours until the results came back from the tests. It was crazy but so in love with him.
