Aden-Kyle`s birthstory

Tuesday night at around 7pm I went to the hospital and was given a gel to soften my cervix which was kept in until 5am Wednesday morning. I was able to take a shower after it was taken out and laid in bed until the doctor came to induce my labor, break my water, etc. I was given pitocin at around 8:00am and the doctor broke my water around 9:00am and labor really started picking up. When I was about 2 centimeters I got the epidural....YEAH, I WAS LUCKY RIGHT!? So I was numb from that point on. At around 3pm the doctor and nurses started getting worried because the baby`s heartbeat was dropping with the contractions (I was about 6 centimeters at this time) so they slowed down the pitocin dosage. WELL....the baby was really having a hard time with his heart rate so they broke the news to me around 3:30pm that I would need a c-section. It wasn`t planned and I never expected that it would happen to me so after the nurse told me she left the room to go get the doctor and I cried. I was very upset and hurt because I wanted to have him the natural way :( At about 5pm they started getting me ready for the surgery and I was taken to a new room where the procedure would be done. I was given more dosage of the epidural so my entire body under my boobs would be totally numb. My fiance held my hand the entire time and the only part that was scary was when they pushed down on my stomach to get the baby out (it felt like an elephant was stepping on my tummy and chest). They told me to `just breath`.....I couldn`t AT ALL it was painful!! But it was worth it because a few seconds later I heard my little baby boy crying :D I love him sooOo much!! He has beautiful big blue eyes and white blonde hair, his mommy`s (nose hehe :D ), and his daddy`s ears. I was in the hospital for 5 days and I just got home today (Saturday). It is not easy recovering from the c-section. I just started to walk on Friday in the hallways just to get my energy back. It took forever to pee again on my own considering I had the tubes up there that just emptied my bladder. Today (Saturday) I had THE WORST constipation ever :( it was painful. I had to get this tablet put up there and finally was able to poo....gross I know but I was literally crying and yelling in the bathroom for 2 hours and still wasn`t able to go until 3 hours after that :( But I`m okay now!! I`m breastfeeding and I love it because it is going very well, I can see myself already losing the weight, and baby Aden loves it alot!!
