KyLee`s birthstory

I went in to the hospital on 8/12 at 4:30 pm to have cervadil put in to start labor because I was not progressing on my own! I was barely 1cm when I went in. They put it in at 7pm on the 12th and at 7am on the 13th they took it out and I was only 2cm dialated. My dr came in at 9am and broke my water and they started giving me pitocin to start the labor process! By 3:30 I was in so much pain with back to back contractions that I got an epideral but I was still not dialated but to 3.5cm. At 8:30 pm the epideral started to wear off on the right side and when my dr came in to check my cervix at 9pm I was only 4.5 cm dialated. He then decided we should do a c-section because I was not progressing much on my own. By 9:53pm I heard my little girl SCREAMING!! She was not ready to enter the world! The dr said she was trying to come out sideways because she had a bump on the side of her head plus with her size(8.9lbs) and my size(4`11) there was no way she was coming out naturally! I was really scared of the thought of having a c-section but now looking back compared to the contractions I felt I think the c-section may have been the easier less painful option!!
