i woke up on my due date thinkin im definitely going over due with this boy and probably have to be induced.

Later in the afternoon at around 6pm my boyfriend came to visit me and said a joke or somethin and helped me stand up, while i stood up i thought i peed myself lol so i had a look, but it just kept gushin out like from the tap, i had to sit on the side of the bath and there was at least 2 pints of water comming out, I knew this was it so we called the hopital and got ready, picked up my mum. we got to the hospital around 7:30pm but had to wait coz they were full. I wasnt in pain I didnt know if i was having contractions. Finally at around 9pm they hooked me up on the monitor and by that time i started feeling some back pains. they started at around 2-5mins apart at around 10:30pm they were regular at 2 mins apart and quite painful and was only 2cm dilated but i still had to wait for a birthing room as i was in the triage. at around 12am i had my room and the contractions were unbearable so the midwife offer me to try gas and air- i tried it for 1 contraction and couldnt be bothered, i didnt use it properly and just didnt want it so i asked for pethidine, that didnt work either so i had to work threw the contractions on my own coz I said to myself that i will not have the epidural.at that point i was 4cm dilated. I got checked two hours later at 2am as the contraction were at its worse and was already fully dilated so we just waited till i was ready to push. I started pushing at 2:15 but the babies head was tilted to the side so it went really slow I got fed up at one point and got on all my fours and pushed- that position really helped as his head started to move down more and more till it started crowning. After a whole hour of pushing he was here! My boyfriend cut the cord and we all couldnt believe how beautiful he is. He latched straight away. I had to have a couple of stitches as i tore inside a bit that was painful as well.
