Eric-Cameron`s birthstory

Hey Ladies!

I finally have a moment... I told my husband (yes he`s still living at home) that morning that I thought it would be that day. I had some bloody show that morning and I thought I might be leaking fluids. But he went to work and I went on with my day. I went grocery shopping and and took my first born to lunch with me. I was having contractions all day, and I knew it was going to happen I just didn`t know when to make the call. I took my son home and we were watching a movie (Shiver me Whiskers - Tom&Jerry) when I called my husband and warned him I was going to call the doctor. So I did when the contractions were 15 minutes apart. The doctor called me back and thank goodness, my doc was on call. Woo Hoo. My husband picked me up and took me and Andre to the hospital. My water broke when I was in the hospital bed a few minutes before they found a doctor to check to see if my water had broken... Good timing all around.... So, it gave my family enough time to get to the hospital. I did go into the OR myself. They played the CD my sister made for me, a bit too early, and I lost it. They waited until I composed myself before begining. I was happy the whole staff was understanding of the situation. They took pictures for me, played the CD and talked me through the whole thing as If I were an adult. I was so grateful, they were wonderful. As soon as they were about to pull him out of me, they pulled the mirror and let me see it happen. He took about 3 seconds before taking a big breath and screaming his booty off. I cried more than he did I think. After the birth they got me into recovery and got him to me so I could try breastfeeding as soon as possible. Eric took right too it, like the only reason he came early is to get a drink!!! Since then I`ve had my stitches come undone, restitched and removed again. After that he lost weight and quickly regained it all and then some. We have been home for a few weeks and I start back to work next week. He is sleeping right now, but will wake up shortly...... so gotta go!
