Easton`s birthstory

I went in on Monday the 19th to be induced. At 10am I was started on pitocin and my water broke at 12pm. My contractions were bareable, I knew I wanted the epi, but I didn`t feel like I was in enough pain to get it. Than around 1:45 the contractions were coming one on top of another so it was time for the epi. At about 3:15 the nurse came in to check me because the babies heart rate was dropping, I was already at a 9 1/2. A couple minutes later I felt a lot of pressure and so I put my hand down there, and OMG the babies head was crowning out, haha, that was a little crazy. My doctor had me push two times than told me to stop and just let the baby come out on his own. That was a crazy expirience. His cord was wrapped around his neck, my husband said that my doctor got it off right away it never tightened, thank goodness. When he came out they placed him on my chest and he was blue. After a little bit he wasn`t turning pink so I was getting worried. I kept asking if he was okay and they kept saying he was. But he wasn`t turning pink and he wasn`t trying to cry. I was getting so worried I started crying and asked again if he was okay. My doctor could see how worried I was and she yelled at the nurses to take the baby, thank God for her. They took him to the warming table and seconds later he was crying and they told me he had really good color. Then they told me he was 8lbs 2oz, holy crap :) We came home at noon on tuesday and it`s been great since, he`s an awesome baby.
