James-Robert`s birthstory

On Monday I woke up around two in the afternoon with my panties looking wet. I didnt think much of it because you never know what happens with your bladder while you sleep. My hubby and I did some things around town and when we got home, I had a pink bloody show. I called thinking they were gonna say stay home and the nurse said come on in. We got to the hospital they took a test for amniotic fluid and I was possitive for that. So my water broke while sleeping.. That night they had me on monitors and was watching my contractions. They werent picking up fast enough for the doctors liking, so they started me on Pitocin on Tuesday, around 2 am. That slowley started working then around 6 pm my contractions were so bad that I was crying, ( and I have a very high pain tolerance ) so I opted for the epi, ( which is crazy because I am terriffied of needles). But I will tell you what, that is a God send!! Thank the good lord for that. Then around 1 am the epi sorta wore off and then I started to feel like I had to go poo, bad!! So the nurses came in and checked me and said `Oh well you are now 10 cm!` The pain was pretty bad during delivery I thought around half way through I wasnt going to make it. But then I got mad and pushed soooooo hard he popped out! So at 3:02 am James came out, and He is perfect! I would do it all again in a heart beat!! :)
