Went to my scheduled Dr. appt on June 4th where it was discovered that my blood pressure was very high. I had to stay and be observed for a while and then they scheduled me to be induced on June 9th. I was admitted on the 9th at 5:30am and the began pitocin at 6am. I had my water broken shortly after that and my epidural about 8am. Baby was not tolerating labor well, and her heartrate was dropping, plus there was no progression...I didn't seem to want pass 7cm dilation. So I had to have an emergency c-section and Little Miss Kristan Darline was born at 12:06pm weighing 8lbs 11oz and 21 inches long. She had to go to the NICU b/c of fluid in her lungs but did very well and was able to come to my room by 5pm. She is healthy, and doing very well!
