Logan-Eduard's birthstory

It was really just a sudden thing. Like I thought would never happen. I was having frequent contractions during the day and they gradually got closer together. I didn`t think anything of it because I had been havign contractions painful and not for weeks. I was already 3 days over my due date and feeling antsy so of course I was excited. After going to the restroom still at home having contractions, I noticed blood in my discharge. Then went back to the couch and let out a huge scream, it was the worst contraction I had ever had. So, after I got myself together I called in and was told to come right into L and D. The ride there was unbareable, the contractions were 2 minutes apart and lasting a minute and a half long. When I got to the hospital the quickly examed me to find I was 4cm dialated and fully effaced. I was in active labour!
No duh! LOL. Within 15 minutes of me being there, I was poked and pryed at. And finally go tmy epidural. I had to sit stil through the most pain in my life. And guess what it didnt work! So it had to be done again! Ouch. When it finally kicked in I was in heaven. Still feeling lots of pressure though. The baby did just great during that time. After the oncall doc checked me I was 6cm with just that 30 min of getting prepped. My doc finally showed up and he was really happy with all my progress. Ha. So after my water was broken at 6cm they noticed the baby poopied and then things got crazy. They had to fit a long tube in my uterus next to Logan`s head to flush away all the poop before the baby took his first breathe. After the happened I got to relax for a little bit then I asked if I could move to a different position because I felt like an elephant(epidurals fault). The the babies heart rate jumped up and then alot of people came in running. I was put on oxygen and then I was checked. I was complete and the baby was moving down his head already. I felt hardly any of this. They put a internal monitor on the babies head jsut to be sure of his heart rate, along with another one to keep track of my contractions. Because once i started to push they lost track of them on the monitor. I had a few practice pushes before the heavey duty stuff started. But when it did he ractically flew out! He was so mad and so precious. My husbadn at the time recoupperating from healping me push and his sudden passing out. Sat next to me and yelled `holy shit` whne Logan came out. I actually laughed. It was a smooth and bumpy delivery but i couldn`t have asked for a better one. The after birth is the part knowone tells you about but Im gonna because I think it`s important. with all your adrenaline rush its really easy to hemorrage. I didn`t but I had an ugly tear from my cervix down to my anus muscle. I have ALOT of stitches. After all the waiting and pain and tears. I finally have my little boy !!!! All worth the while.
