Silas-Aeden-Maday`s birthstory

I went in Tuesday at 7:30pm on 9-22-09 to be induced. I was put in room 9 & started Cervidil at 9:30 pm. The Cervidil was removed Wednesday morning at 8 am. They checked me & i wasn`t dilated or anything so they gave me Cytotec at 8:30 am to try to start my cervix & labor instead of Pitocin. It didn`t really work either so i got the 2nd Cytotec pill inserted at 1:15 pm. I started having more contractions & more pain. I got Stadol in my iv for pain & more later. My water broke at 6:45 pm & i started having bad contractions right after that. I got my epidural at 7:15 pm & slept through most of my labor. I went from 2 cm at 7:45 pm to 10 cm around 12:30 am. I pushed for a little over an hour to get his head down past my pelvic bone & pushed maybe 20-25 mins to get him out. He came out pretty fast. His head was halfway out when my contraction stopped so i had to wait for another one to get his head out & the rest of him followed! He was born 1:53 am 7 lbs 2 oz! He was gray when he was born & it took them a minuted to get him to cry. He is so beautiful! The head being stuck was the only part that hurt during delivery. Labor before my epidural hurt worse than delivery. I didn`t tear or need stitches since i pushed so long just to move his head & she was doing the perineal massage the whole time. I had 2 really minor little tears. I`m very sore, but we`re all doing great! He passed all of his tests in the hospital, but he has a touch of Jaundice. We came home at 2 am Saturday morning!! I`m really exhausted, but he`s worth it!!
