Ben`s birthstory

They started to induce me on pitocin and it kicked in about 8.30am. The doctors came in and broke my waters soon after. The contractions came fast and furious every 30 seconds and I managed to breath through most of them. I went from 1cm dilated to 10cm in under 3 hours. I asked for an epidural in my final hour as the pain was very intense. I pushed 3 times and `Ben` came out. I had a little placenta abrubtion that got in the way so they helped him out with the vacumme (which was a great help). I couldnt believe I had him in my arms at 11.30am that same morning. He is perfect. I did tear a little bit too but I cant complain too much. I have to say for you ladies getting induced you have nothing to worry about. It is very organised and gives you plently time to get the pain relief if and when you need it in time. I would rather take this 3 hour indiction anyt time than my first pregnancy when I laboured for 16 hours. I will post some photos of Ben later.
