Allison-Paige`s birthstory

I went in Wednesday night at 6 pm to start the antibiotics for the GBS. Little did I know that my doctor decided to start me on a low dose of pictocin that night after I received my first dose of meds. The was totally not my plan. I was hoping to sleep all night and start the induction around 5 am the next day. I was at 2 1/2 cm when I got there, 50 % efaced and the baby was at minus 3 station. Around 2 am the nurse started to increase the pictocin. Around 3 I asked for some Staydal IV pain medicine. The nurse said that she needs to call the doctor to make sure it`s ok. She came back a few minutes later and said he is on his way to break my water. Shortly after receiving my pain medicine, the doctor came in around 3:30 and broke my water. I went from 3 cm to fully dialted in less than 2 hours. And after pushing through 4 contractions, out came my beautiful baby girl.
