Sarah Kate`s birthstory

I awoke at 2am on Saturday morning feeling contractions. I laid in bed for a few hours as I wasn't sure if I was in labor as I was only 36 weeks. But, since contractions to bemy other daughter was born at 36 weeks as well I thought there was a chance that I was. I timed my 4-5 minutes apart so I got up and called the hospital. They said for me to come in and get monitored. Since the hospital is literally 5 minutes from home, I awoke my husband and told him that I was going to get monitored as I'm having contractions but that I didn't think I was in true labor. So, I drove myself to the hospital and went to labor and delivery. After about an hour of being monitored the doctor came in for me to sign consents I realized this was it so I called my husband and he came to the hospital. Sarah Kate made her arrival at 36 weeks at 7 lbs, 3 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She is truly beautiful and healthy and I feel truly blessed. Good luck to everyone with there pregnancies!
