Emma-Lynn-Dawn`s birthstory

I went into labour at 36 weeks 1 day and laboured until early morning of 36 weeks 3 days. Due to stress on baby and lack of progression, my little girl was born by emergency c-section at 36 weeks 3 days on December 5, 2007. Turned out she had become stuck in the left side of my pelvis and she had the chord wrapped around her neck twice and it was very tightly wrapped. Each time she tried to move farther into the birthing canal, the chord became tighter and she would come back up.
She spent no time in the NICU and we were both discharged home two days later. She is absolutely perfect and sooo beautiful! What an exciting early Christmas gift!
