Birthstory:

well on thursday oct. 15th the hospital called me and told me that i should be there for the c-section at 7 am instead of 6 am. ok so we (me, hubby, my sis and my mom) went to the hospital. i had to change into the hospital clothes to start everything. they gave me some shots for sickness and they monitored the heartbeat of the two lil ones... they said they will do the c-section at 9 am... well at 8 am the doc called the nurse and told her that i can get the surgery right now... OMG... i got so scared... my whole body was shaking... so they gave me some other shots (did i mentioned that im scared of needles)... so they got me ready to go downstairs... as i was waiting for the spinal i almost lost controll of my body, cause i was so scared... they numbed my back and then they tried to do the spinal (didnt worked out the first time), a second doc had to do it and then it worked... i think it was painful, but every woman is different... ohh well, as i felt that my legs and my back got numb (its a warm feeling running down your body), they moved me into a laying position... then they finally had me in the surgery room... i was still scared but i was relieved that i couldnt really feel any pain... then my sis finally came into the surgery room (hubby didnt want to go in there, cause he didnt want to see that his love of the life gets cut open... lol...) and she calmed me down a lot... told me everything is going good and im brave and always spoke to me...then i could feel alot of pushing on my stomach... it didnt hurt it just felt weird... then at 08:42 the first twin Carl Leonard was pulled out of my tummy... he screamed and i just had to urge to cry... it was such a great sound to hear him and then they hold him over the covering curtain... it was such a great feeling... after they got him out of the surgery room they started to get the second twin out.. she was breech... as the doc tried to turn her around, she got stuck behind the placenta of the boy... so the doc yelled at the nurse to get another doc in here to get the lil one out... he yelled at the nurse quiet a couple times... i really got scared, cause i didnt know what was going on... after 2 mins the doc finally got her to get back and turn to the position that he could get her out at 08:44... and then i heard her screaming... i was so reliefed, but still in shock... the nurse came over to my side with the second twin Samantha Lynn and hold her cheek on my cheek... i just then started really to cry... after the nurses took care of the twins they brought them into the surgery room again and i could take a closer look at them two... after that they took the kids to the nursing room and i got taken care of... after i was done with everything they took me to the recovering room for like an hour and then back up to my room... i couldnt see the twins right afterwards... i had to wait for like 4 hours to go see them... it was the greatest feeling ever to finally see my kids and realise that im a mommy... daddy already got to see them two right after they got taken down to the nurseryroom... he was happy and i can tell he really is a proud daddy... the first night both had to stay in the Incubators, but the next morning they could already go into a warming bed... they are still in there, cause they cant keep their body heat on the same level... but both kids are doing good, they are eating just like normal birth babies and recovering just great... i already got to feed them (cant breast feed, cause the docs put too many pain relieves into my body)... well all in all im really happy that everything just happend how it happend... IM A REALLY HAPPY MOMMY and of course im proud of my twins...
