Labor Story....

Went to the hospital at 7;30 am to be induced. My doctor arrived at about 830 to put in the cervix ripening supository. It took about 4 hours to start having contraction but were not very consistant and not painfull at all, so we did another dose 12.30 of 50mg and that started the trick. About two hours later very strong contraction and getting to be about every five minutes apart. My doctor came in about 230 and check me and i was 95 % effaced but only dialated to one still. When he check my cervix he noticed a tight band of scar tissue that was causing me not to dialate very quick so he put two fingers in my cervix and opened the cervix up. I could feel a pop in the cervix or something opening up it was wierd feeling and after that I went from 1 to 4 cm in like 30 sections and they broke my water. About 1 hour after they broke my water my contraction were 1 minute apart and I was in a lot of pain. I tried to get through more contraction but I could not do it so I ask for epidural. After the epidural things went pretty good and I was dialated to 9.75 cm and was getting ready to push in about half hour is when my doctor would come back. I was getting so nervous about the pushing because i was numb and so they turned off the epidual so i could feel everything and beable to push. My doctor returned and check me and said we can have a baby now......

Will I got to do one push and that is when it all happend. Bailee heart rate dropped down to30 beats per minute after one push. I was not aware of this yet and my doctor put me on my left side and then right side and they I herd him call to have my epidural turned back up and that if baby heart rate does not come back up we need to do c-section. That is when I realized things were not good. I was put on all fours so my knees were to my chest and still nothing baby still had low heart rate. Doctor then yelled get room two ready we need to get this baby out.....

I was then wheeled out and I remember looking at my husband and waving good buy and I was crying becuase he was not allowed to come with me at that point. They took my to operating room and started to prepare me for c-section and I was not allowed to be on my back until the moment they were ready to cut me open. Fianlly it seemed to take for ever but it was only minutes and I was turned over and my husband was allowed to come in because they did not have to put me to sleep because the epidural took fast and he was happy to come in and keep me calm. I was crying because i did not know if Bailee was ok and then before I could think any more I felt all the pressure and Bailee was born and i herd her cry and I started crying so hard I was shaking. I only got to see her for a split second and they took her away but I could still hear her crying so i knew she was ok so far. My husband left my side why they finished sewing me up....

I was taken to recovery and did not get to see Bailee for about 2 hours and then finally she was in my arms. She was beatifull and healthy. I could not take my eyes of her but the only things I did not get to see her being weight or anything. I missed out on all that stuff and only have pictures of all the after birth stuff. That was real hard for me but as long as she is healthy I am ok with that. I love her more than anything and my experience just makes her more special....
