Riley-Edwards`s birthstory

My water broke at 5:10am (or so I thought) and we called it in and proceeded to the hospital, on my way there I began to have painful contractions 3 minutes apart
Got to the hospital and they said my water didn`t break :( BUT!! my contractions were very close together and I was dilating so they admitted me
everything was going smoothly and I was 9 cm by 3:30pm but then everything halted :( I was still contracting but I was STILL 9cm by 8pm I tried to eat but i threw up everything i ate even chicken broth :(
I began pushing at 8:45pm then they checked my cervix again and found a small piece of cervix still remaining!!!!!!! ARGH!!!! so I stopped pushing and waited 30 min to begin again
I pushed for 2 hours!!! I would push him down and then he would slide back up and on top of that every time I pushed his heart rate decreased ( but not too much to put him in distress)
So the doc came in and told me that they don`t want me pushing more than 3 hours so I have the choice of getting some assistance with the vacuum... I said heck yes PLEASE!!! (it was 11:20pm by this time)
So they prepared for delivery and I started pushing again and about 9 pushes later I delivered my baby boy
I ripped my perineum (I might have spelled that wrong) and I had to get stitches, the next day I asked if I should be bleeding through a whole pad within a hour and they said no so they checked my stomach by grinding on it and a gush of blood released from me..... I remained calm on the outside ( for my husband`s sake) but I was freaking out on the inside.... doctors came rushing in and they started sticking me with Iv`s and shooting me with 2 shots in each leg. I was shivering because I lost a lot of blood... the doctor had to shove 5 pills up my butt (ouch) and she had to go in and scrape my uterus to get rid of clots.... she told me if the treatment they were doing didn`t work then I would have to go to the operating room and get my uterus scraped that way or worst case scenario get a hysterectomy....I was so scared to go to sleep because I thought I would never wake up again but the treatment they were giving me knocked me out and I woke up to my husband holding my son looking over me asking if I was ok..... OMG that was a traumatic experience but I am so happy my baby is healthy and we are both ok
